Jackie Alpers (Jacqueline Alpers) is an award winning, professional food photographer based in Tucson, Arizona. She specializes in documenting people, culture and food related themes for commissioned advertising and editorial assignments; cookbooks and book jackets.She is especially interested in the emotional, psychological and spiritual relationship that people have with food and drink. Food is an important catalyst for so many of life’s great themes. It lends itself to vast symbolism and interpretations and she loves the rituals surrounding it.
