| Jackie Alpers is an award winning, Tucson, Arizona based, advertising and editorial photographer specializing in unique food, people and travel images. Often Jackie's food photography includes people, setting a mood, and bringing the viewer into the human experience of the food we eat. A former managing photo editor at the groundbreaking Swanstock agency, she now photographs food, lifestyle & social topics for cookbooks, magazine articles, news providers, television and for fiction and non-fiction book covers. She is an experienced educatior and has taught industry workshops and lecutres throughout the USA. She is the recipient of numerous awards from American Photography, the International Photography Awards (Lucie's), ASMP, and the ADDYs. In 1994 she was the recipient of the the Black & White Spider Awards merit of excellence, and in 2001 she was awarded a bronze medal from the London Photographic Awards.
